Hickory-area business park breaks ground, aims to bring hundreds of clean, high-tech jobs to the region

Catawba County and others are trying something different in offering a business park to attract industry into an area south of Hickory.

Trivium Corporate Center broke ground this week with a plan to attract clean, high-tech manufacturers to its 270 acres that is set on a rural landscape along U.S. Highway 321 and south of Interstate 40.
