The Committee of 100 is a private group of business and community leaders who invest in the long-term economic vitality of Catawba County and serve as a vital source of funding for the Catawba County Economic Development Corporation. Member contributions support strategic initiatives that recruit new industries, expand existing companies, develop market-ready sites, and proactively target businesses that align with the county’s strengths.

By funding efforts such as industry recruitment, product development such as spec buildings and business parks, and outreach to high-growth companies, the Committee helps ensure Catawba County remains competitive for quality jobs and long-term investment.

Annual membership is $1,000 or more, with funds directed by the EDC Board. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, contributions may be tax-deductible.
