Claremont International Rail Park

The Claremont International Rail Park is the 155-acre second phase of the established Claremont International Business Park. The rail site is served by Norfolk Southern Railroad and is perfectly suited for manufacturing. The site is located 2 miles from Interstate 40 and is 50 minutes from the Charlotte Douglas International Airport and the Charlotte Inland Terminal. All utilities are available at the site with a substation less than 1 mile away. Other tenants in the park include Prysmian, Pöppelmann Plastics, WestRock, CertainTeed, Centro Rotational Molders, Southeastern Freight & Williams-Sonoma.
REDI Sites, a site readiness verification program created by the Site Selectors Guild, has designated the Claremont International Rail Park a GOLD site. The site is one of only 7 Gold sites in the nation. REDI Sites was created to provide a standardized, consultant-informed approach to evaluating industrial site readiness. The program helps communities identify gaps, strengthen documentation, and increase visibility to the site selection community.
