Cargo Integrated Logistics Adds Fifth Facility in Hickory/Conover Area

Conover, NC: Cargo Integrated Logistics (CIL) has leased another warehouse facility located at 1501 13th Street SW, Hickory, NC 28602 with another operational expansion, this time in Hickory.

The 80,000 square foot facility has been converted to a warehouse facility for the expanding operations of Cargo Integrated Logistics for dedicated logistics clients. The facility provides modern, clean, and open space for warehousing and distribution of products. There are also 9 truck loading doors and ample trailer parking in the fully fenced and securely gated multi-acre facility. The facility also provides almost 21 feet clear height and is a mile from Interstate 40 and Highway 321 for easy truck access. The new location brings Cargo Integrated Logistics total managed space to approximately 420,000 square feet.

Additionally, at the new location, CIL will operate its state-of-the-art warehouse management system, UPP Technology’s IRMS-360. It will also have the ability to perform value-added packaging services projects on site.

Recently, in September 2014, Cargo Integrated Logistics, an operation of Cargo Consolidation Services, Inc. (CCS) acquired the former Lane Venture Distribution Warehouse at 1409 Deborah Herman Road, Conover, NC. This 75,000 square foot facility is now operational and being fully utilized in a multi-client third party logistics environment. In February of 2015, CIL/CCS expanded again taking the former Thomasville facility located at 1118 1st Street W, Conover, NC with a 120,000 square foot dedicated distribution and furniture repair operation.
