Catawba County
is located in the western part of the State of North Carolina in the
foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and covers 405 square miles.
The central county of North Carolina’s fourth largest MSA (estimated
2006 population – 359,856), Catawba County’s estimated 2006
population of 153,784 includes the inhabitants of its eight
municipalities. Catawba County’s large MSA population, mild climate,
excellent interstate access and central location make it an ideal
location for both industrial and retail development.
